For our last meeting, we continued our tradition of no-sew-blankets! We also invited Key Club members from around the district to come and join us!

CLU Circle K trekked all the way to NorCal to attend this year's Fall Training Conference! Here, we met up with fellow CenCoers and other Circle K clubs from all over the Cal-Nev-Ha District. It was so cool to see how Circle K can unite people from all over the state!  CLU made their first appearance at Crazy Kompetition for Infants. Here, they competed against other Circle K clubs from all around the state in games and relay races! This event was held to raise money and awareness for the Pediatric Trauma Program.  Cal Lu Circle K made its way over to Ventura to volunteer at Storyfest! There, they read books to kids on different topics such as art, science, space, and nature!   Cal Lu meet up with Circle K clubs from Cal Poly and UC Merced to participate in a forest clean up at Yosemite National Park!  To ease the stress of finals, our club created care packages filled with stress balls, candy, pencils, and scantrons and gave them out to students during finals week.
CLU Circle K traveled down to Orange Coast College to attend the annual Spring Training Conference. Here members attended various workshops to learn about different things  Circle K's first SDC! We enjoyed meeting new people and participating in all the festivities. Before the fall semester ended, as a final service event, members made security blankets for children in need.
Circle K attended our first FTC! The members took a drive up to NorCal. During the weekend, they went to workshops to learn new skills and met up with friends from other Circle K clubs! |
